What is the circle of life?

The concept of ageing can be confronting to participants, but may arise in intergeneration playgroups. It’s important to be prepared and aware of the concepts of death, dying and grief becoming relevant at an intergenerational playgroup.  

Circle of Life 

It is important for families to be aware that as residents in aged care facilities are in the final phase of life there is a possibility that a resident your child has formed a strong emotional bond and connection with may not be there next time they visit. It is recommended that a process in place for providing support to your children if or when this occurs.
