Can people who are sick attend play experiences?

Anyone who is unwell (child/parent/volunteer/facilitator etc) should not attend the play experience until they are well again.
Reasons to not attend your play experience when sick:
  • To avoid sharing germs
  • To rest and get better
  • To respect ‘high risk’ members (including those with a disability, poor immune systems, or pregnant).

With respect to infectious diseases such as Chicken Pox, German Measles or Whooping Cough parents should ensure they abide by the recommended exclusion time. Fact sheets regarding infectious diseases are available from Queensland Health.
