December is a great time for children and families to take it a bit slower and enjoy the lovely summer weather. There are so many opportunities to create summer fun together at home or out and about in your local community – a great way of creating childhood memories that will last a lifetime!

Open-ended free play is beneficial for both the young and the young at heart! As is quality family time, particularly to a child in their formative developmental years when secure and healthy attachments are crucial for cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
