Playgroup Queensland and Sing&Grow Australia are now part of the Play Matters family!

Our new brand

In 2020, Playgroup Queensland and Sing&Grow Australia recognised the need for change. Our voice was being drowned in a sea of sameness. The Playgroup Queensland brand created confusion and did not match our expertise, passion, and commitment to community connection and play.

A new strategic plan affirmed our mission and reflected our aspiration to do more. Accordingly, in 2021, Play Matters was developed as the group masterbrand replacing Playgroup Queensland. In 2022, we unveiled our new brand publicly along with new IT systems and membership model. We are a national organisation with programs delivered in every state and territory in the country and our new brand reflects this.

Our new brand is anchored by our heritage and inspired by our belief in the positive role of play. The duality inherent in the name is echoed in our identity as the heart and science of play. Play Matters Australia is inclusive, connected and unbiased. Importantly, it provides a platform for national expansion and recognition.

What is changing?

The high-quality programs and services delivered by Playgroup Queensland and Sing&Grow are not changing. However, our branding is. 

Sing&Grow Australia will retain its logo and appear alongside 'Part of the Play Matters family'. Our evidence-based music therapy program will continue to support children, families, and communities across the country.

The Playgroup Queensland brand and program brands are being phased out and will be replaced by the Play Matters Australia brand.
