Welcome to CPSS Playgroup

My name is Krystal Lucas, I am the playgroup coordinator at Collingwood Park State School. Come along and enjoy your morning playing and connecting with your little ones. Every Thursday morning 9:30am to 11am, We have a beautiful space in our OSHC building that is fully air-conditioned, full kitchen with tea and coffee supplied, some weeks if i can i love to supply yummy fruit and sometimes biscuits for morning tea, but please bring along your own morning tea each week. We have a great uncover Outside space to burn off some of that energy, that our little ones seem to find every single day no matter the Weather. We do love ourselves some messy play and water play when permitting, so please bring along spare clothes each week. My aim is to make everyone feel welcome at Playgroup. My hope each week is that i make a space where everyone feels welcome and relaxed and its a comunity where we build each other up, support one another, have good conversation, and do this all in a space that is safe for your children to grow and explore and socialise at their own pace. I have a social media Page on Facebook, the link is below. Alittle about myself, I am a casual teacher aide at school during the year. I am a cert III Qualified ealry educator with roughly 18years experience in long-daycare settings. I'm currently studying Cert IV in school based education support. I love this alot and im very passionate about supporting and avocating for children who struggle at school wether it be academicly or socially. I am a mum of 3 boys 10, 7 and 2 (my 2 oldest have ASD and ADHD) and 4 daughtes 14, 17, 19, 20(all my stepdaughters).
