Welcome to Brazilian Portuguese Playgroup - Brisbane

Immerse your family in the vibrant world of Brazilian culture during our Playgroup sessions, conducted entirely in Portuguese. Held on the following Wednesdays during School Term 2 — 21 May, 4 June, 18 June, and 2 July — the sessions run from 9:00am to 10:00am in The Parlour at the State Library. Each week, parents and children come together for energetic songs and rhymes, and beloved tales from Brazilian folklore during our storytime. Afterward, little ones can play, create, and make new friends during a relaxed free-play time. The Playgroup is conducted entirely in Portuguese to support language learning and introduce children to the music, warmth, and vibrant customs of Brazilian culture. Families from all Portuguese-speaking backgrounds are warmly welcome!
