National Playgroup Week
Play Matters Australia celebrates National Playgroup Week in March each year.
About National Playgroup Week
National Playgroup Week is held each year in March. It is an opportunity to celebrate play, and advocate for and promote playgroups across the country. Playgroups open their doors and welcome new families during National Playgroup Week.
Play Matters Australia encourages playgroups to hold open days and provides digital resource kits to groups.
National Playgroup Week
Activity Kit
We've created an activity kit to help celebrate National Playgroup Week.
This activity kit includes a range of activities you can do during National Playgroup Week at your playgroup (and at home with your little one). They are easy activities that are fun for everyone.
Celebrate National Playgroup Week | Ideas for Playgroups
National Playgroup Week is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate everything that makes your playgroup unique — the families, the friendships, the fun and the moments of play that help children learn, grow and connect.
These ideas can help your playgroup create memorable experiences during the week.
