“Why nature play is increasingly important when children are spending more time on screens and less time outdoors”

This webinar explores why nature play is essential for children’s development and wellbeing, and how families and educators can easily build it into everyday life. Sarah will share the benefits of unstructured outdoor play for mental and physical health, creativity and resilience, and why it’s especially important in a digital world. Participants will gain practical, easy-to apply ideas for supporting nature play at home and in educational settings, including sensory play for babies and toddlers, and will be introduced to free Nature Play WA resources to help them get started with confidence.
