Children are inherently creative, innovative, and inquisitive. February’s activities embrace these qualities, provoking self-expression through artwork and inventions.

Play about the process, not the product! Through creative play, children are given the opportunity to make mistakes and use trial and error to express their ideas. In the early years, children are learning through their creative experiences, practicing skills, and investigating different materials and their properties. Creating and exploring involves skills in planning, making choices, and re-designing as needed.
