Support and Connection
Playgroups support parents by helping them to build connections with other parents in a relaxed environment, improving confidence in their parenting skills, and providing advice and referrals where more support is required.
Our online baby playgroups provide accessible opportunities for play and connection where face-to-face programs are unavailable or difficult to attend. At Play Matters Australia, we understand the challenges of parenting, as well as trying circumstances that can impact a family’s ability to attend playgroups, or programs, such as transport limitations, distance to home and the difficulties in organising the little ones, especially babies, for trips out of the house. We aim to support parents in all ways we can.
Flexible and Engaging
These special sessions allow parents to participate and connect with other like-minded parents without spending too much time preparing or getting ready. Parents can jump online between breakfast and naptime and enjoy an engaging experience.
Our weekly sessions run over Zoom every Wednesday during term time at 9:30am and 11:00am. We’ll sing, move, read books and have fun playing with facilitated activities that are developmentally appropriate for your little one!
Registration is required, but sessions are FREE.
