Welcome to Paradise Playgroup
Come along for a fun, friendly and relaxed morning together. Paradise Playgroup is at Pacific Paradise State School based within the Prep area. It is a great place to make new friends (for our kids and grown-ups), play, learn new things and become part of our school community. Our mornings are led by one of the School Chaplain, Maneena Roberts, and supported by a parent committee. We have a mix of organised activities and free play for the first hour. It is then story time whilst the children have their morning snack. This is followed by singing, music or movement. Paradise Playgroup runs each Wednesday from 9am to 10:30am Weeks 1 - 10 during school terms. Term 1, 2026 will begin on the 11th February. We ask for a gold coin donation to support future activities. All are welcome.

experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
School readiness involves developing key skills in the transition to formal schooling. Activities focus on empowering families to be involved in learning and building key physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills to support children entering school.
