Our mission is to work with our community to provide opportunities for every child to learn through play, supporting a successful transition to school. Bring a hat and some morning tea for your child, and join in the fun and social connections. Our playgroup is located in G block at Beerwah State School. Everyone is welcome!

Types of play
experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
School readiness involves developing key skills in the transition to formal schooling. Activities focus on empowering families to be involved in learning and building key physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills to support children entering school.
