Welcome to Saint Mary's Playgroup
Saint Mary’s Catholic College, Kingaroy is a Prep to Year 12 College. We have a current COVID-19 safe school plan in place. We would like to invite Parents and Carers and children of our wider community to attend a 90 minute, once a week session, commencing at 9.00am each Thursday during the school terms. There are lots of new activities planned for the year and we know that your children will love coming along, interacting with others and making new friendships. Our Service Dog Otto cannot wait to meet you and join in the exciting activities. Remember to pack your morning tea, water bottle and a hat. Parents and Carers we have tea and coffee available. The College has qualified and trained staff in attendance at all times. During COVID-19 we have capacity for 20. It will be great to see you come along to our College, feel the welcome and enjoy our facilities, make some new friendships and have some fun!

experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
School readiness involves developing key skills in the transition to formal schooling. Activities focus on empowering families to be involved in learning and building key physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills to support children entering school.
