Grandparents, Carers, Nannies, Family Day Care, Mums, Dads, Aunts, Uncles! You are all welcome! Come along for a fun, friendly, relaxed morning together. Your venue, Play Matters Sunshine Coast Hub is set on 1 acre of gorgeous, magical grounds. It is safely fenced with easy access. Children engage in a range of play experiences supported by staff from Kath Dickson Family Day Care. It is the perfect environment to make new friends, play, and become part of a community. We meet every Wednesday of the school term. Complimentary tea and coffee are available, but please bring your own snacks. A coffee van pops in if you prefer. We do recommend bringing a hat and spare change of clothes, play can get messy! Cost to attend is just $8 per family with paywave available. We look forward to making you welcome. Playgroups meet Tuesday to Friday at Play Matters Sunshine Coast Hub, 9.30am to 11.30am during school terms. Check out our Facebook and Instagram page for more details. Types of play
experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
Groups where the young and the young at heart come together to build relationships through play. These sessions take place in an aged care facility, or in a community setting, such as a grandparent's playgroup.
These groups create a supportive space where families can connect, share knowledge and experiences, and engage in play that reflects their unique needs and interests.
