Welcome to Baralaba Playgroup
Baralaba Playgroup is a friendly, welcoming space for families to connect while children learn and grow through play. We are currently meeting at the Baralaba Hall and making use of the local playgrounds while our playgroup building undergoes repairs. Although this means we are a little limited in the range of activities we can offer right now, we are still enjoying relaxed, social mornings together filled with free play and connection. When we are back in our building, our sessions typically include a mix of engaging activities such as sensory play, fine motor strengthening experiences, painting, craft, playdough and more, all designed to support early learning and development in a fun, hands-on way. Please bring along a hat, water bottle and your own morning tea. We meet during the school term on a Thursday from 9am until 10:30/11am. Come along to play, learn and make new friends, we’d love to see you there!

Types of play
experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
