Welcome to KEYS Playgroup
Come along to our weekly playgroup for a fun, friendly and relaxed morning together. Playgroup is a great place to make new friends, to play, and to learn. Each week we will have a mixture of intentionally organised experiences to foster specific developmental areas as well as plenty of free play opportunities for children to explore independently. Each session will have a sensory component, to allow children to use their senses to explore the world around them and to express their creativity in personally meaningful ways.

experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
Often run in partnership with a First Nations service or organisation, these playgroups are culturally safe spaces to connect for both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people's and those interested in making connections.
These playgroups celebrate diversity through play-based activities, such as stories, songs, games and everyday play experiences, while supporting children to build identity, connection and a sense of belonging, and helping families connect with their culture and community. Families with an interest in connecting with culture are welcome to attend.
