Welcome to Event - Messy Play Matters Gold Coast
Get ready to play, explore, squish, splash and create at our BIG community messy play event! Join us for a fun-filled session of sensory play, creative activities, and hands-on experiences hosted by Play Matters Australia and amazing local community partners. From messy play stations to community partners, there will be something for every little explorer to enjoy. Come dressed for mess and enjoy a morning of play, connection and community goodness.

Types of play
experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
Specific playgroup for the early stages of parenting - baby playgroups (0 - 12 months of age) are for families to connect and share experiences, build friendships and community.
Special play-based events, run outside of normal services. This includes pop-ups, showcases and community events.
A supported, tailored program for children with developmental concern and/or disability. No diagnosis necessary. These groups offer weekly playgroups, group music therapy, and holiday groups. Delivered by a qualified Early Childhood Facilitator and Registered Music Therapists.
