Welcome to Wesley's Little Hoppers
Wesley’s Little Hoppers is a local playgroup open to all families with children aged up to 5 years old. We look forward to welcoming children who are from the Mount Cotton area, and we are based within the grounds of Mount Cotton State School. Come join our School Chaplain Nina for some fun activities and meet other parents. Enjoy a chat with other adults while the children play and make new friends. I hope to see you there. Numbers are limited, so please register your interest and book your spot. Please note, per Department of Education guidelines, on arrival all visitors on site will need to sign in at the School Office prior to attending Wesley’s Little Hoppers. Look forward to welcoming you soon! 😊

Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
Specific playgroup for the early stages of parenting - baby playgroups (0 - 12 months of age) are for families to connect and share experiences, build friendships and community.
School readiness involves developing key skills in the transition to formal schooling. Activities focus on empowering families to be involved in learning and building key physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and communication skills to support children entering school.
