Welcome to Wellcamp State School Playgroup
Come along for a fun, friendly, educational afternoon together, working with our current prep students and teachers. A good way to come and see how our prep class works and it's the best way to transition into prep. At our playgroup we have a mix of organised activities, inside and outside. Operating for one hour every Wednesday during Term 4 – all are welcome!

Types of play
experiences
Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
Groups where the young and the young at heart come together to build relationships through play. These sessions take place in an aged care facility, or in a community setting, such as a grandparent's playgroup.
These groups create a supportive space where families can connect, share knowledge and experiences, and engage in play that reflects their unique needs and interests.
Special play-based events, run outside of normal services. This includes pop-ups, showcases and community events.
