Welcome to Pine Rivers Community Playgroup
Need somewhere relaxed to hang out where kids can be kids and grown-ups can be real humans? You’ve found it! Pine Rivers Community Playgroup is an inclusive, low-key and welcoming playgroup for children aged 0–5 and their carers. We proudly welcome: - Parents, grandparents & carers - Foster & kinship families - Same-sex families - Bilingual & multicultural families - Kids and carers with disabilities What happens here? Honestly, we like to go with the flow! We offer: - Relaxed play for the kids - No structured routines (like story time) - Kids explore their interests - Grown-ups can connect or quietly recharge - Stay for the whole session or just pop in! Our sessions are facilitated by volunteer mums who get it. We’re here to share your best days, and here for you on your worst. No judgement. No agendas. No cliques. Our sessions run from 9:30am to 11:30am: - Fridays at Encircle Kallangur Neighbourhood Centre, 51 Marsden Road, Kallangur We meet all year around during school terms. We offer a 10 visit pass for $30 (per family) which helps us to maintain our toy collection, arrange craft activities and other fun events. We are a PlayMatters registered community playgroup. New members will need to become Playgroup Queensland members by their third visit, as this provides insurance coverage for members and their children. Playgroup is for everyone. A regular meeting of families with their children aged 0-5, often with set up activities and invitations to play and families to connect. There are playgroups run by community (often volunteer-led), organisations (like schools) and specialist groups too, all supported by Play Matters.
