Cyclone Alfred

Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred made landfall near Brisbane, Australia, causing significant impact in the region. The cyclone affected areas between Bundaberg and northern New South Wales, with Brisbane experiencing strong winds and heavy rainfall. This event is notable as cyclones are rare in the area, with the last major one occurring in 1990.

Play Matters Australia is closely monitoring the situation and will provide updates on the availability of our playgroup sessions and other programs on this webpage.
