General Terms and Conditions for Competitions and Giveaways Run by Play Matters Australia

1. The promoter is Play Matters Australia (Playgroup Queensland Ltd, ABN 80 180 917 496), with its registered office at 86 Orchid Street, Enoggera, QLD, 4051. For enquiries, contact 1800 171 882.
2. Competitions are open to residents of Australia aged 18 years or over, unless otherwise stated. Play Matters employees are unable to enter competitions or giveaways.
3. No entry fee or purchase is necessary to enter any competition.
4. By entering a competition, entrants indicate their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Entry details, eligibility criteria, and closing dates will be outlined in the relevant competition or giveaway.
6. Unless otherwise specified, only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person may result in disqualification.
7. Closing dates for entries will be specified in the individual competition posts. Entries received after the deadline will not be accepted.
8. Play Matters Australia accepts no responsibility for late, lost, or misdirected entries.
9. Play Matters Australia reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. Any changes will be communicated as soon as possible.
10. Prizes are as stated in the individual competition post and are not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash. In the event a prize becomes unavailable, Play Matters Australia reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
11. Winners will be chosen by random selection software or by a panel appointed by Play Matters Australia, from all valid entries received.
12. Winners will be notified via direct message on social media or email within 28 days of the competition closing date. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, Play Matters Australia reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select a new winner.
13. Prize collection or delivery details will be provided to the winner upon confirmation. Winner initials and location will be placed on our website here: https://playmatters.org.au/competition-and-giveaway-winners 
14. The promoter’s decision on all matters related to the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. Competitions and these terms are governed by Australian law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Australian courts.
17. By entering, winners consent to the use of their name, image, and entry content for publicity purposes in any media, without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
18. Personal data will be handled in accordance with Australian data protection legislation and Play Matters Australia’s Privacy Policy. Information will not be shared with third parties without prior consent.
19. Winners' names can be obtained within 28 days of the closing date by emailing info@playmatters.org.au.
20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, or any other third-party platform. You are providing your information to Play Matters Australia, not to any social network.
21. Play Matters Australia reserves the right to update or modify these terms and conditions at any time, with changes effective immediately upon publication.
22. Play Matters Australia also reserves the right to cancel a competition at its sole discretion if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
